When you book an apartment through our platform, we collect the following:
Identifiers: Name, email address, and Mobile Phone Number.
Financial Data: Credit card details and billing address (processed securely via Stripe).
Verification Data: A photograph of your Government-issued ID.
Usage Data: Entry and exit logs from the smart lock. - How We Use Your Phone Number
Your phone number is a critical component of our secure entry system. We use it specifically to:
Access Delivery: Send your unique 6-digit TTLock access code via SMS.
Identity Cross-Referencing: Ensure the person requesting access matches the person who paid the reservation.
Urgent Communication: Contact you only in the event of an emergency or check-out reminder.
Note: We do not sell your phone number to third parties or use it for marketing purposes without your explicit opt-in. - Third-Party Processors
To provide our service, we share specific data with the following partners:
Stripe, Inc.: Handles all payment processing. We do not store your full credit card numbers on our servers. View Stripe's Privacy Policy.
TTLock/Gateway: To generate your time-bound access code.
Twilio: To transmit the access code to your mobile device. - Data Retention
In compliance with California law, we retain ID photographs only until your stay is completed and the property is inspected for damages. Transaction data is retained as required by financial regulations via Stripe. - Your California Privacy Rights

Purpose of Collection:
1. Liability for Damages: Guest is responsible for all damage to the premises or its contents (including but not limited to furniture, electronics, and wall surfaces) caused by the Guest or their invitees.
TV & Walls: Specifically, mounting hardware, large holes, or screen damage to televisions will result in a minimum charge of the full replacement cost plus installation.
Normal Wear vs. Damage: Scuff marks are considered wear; holes larger than a pinhead or permanent stains are considered Damage.
2. House Rules: Guest agrees to a "No Party" policy. Violation of noise or occupancy limits results in immediate eviction without refund.
