Terms of Use & Rental Agreement

Please read these terms carefully before confirming your stay.

1. Nature of the Agreement

This agreement constitutes a temporary, non-exclusive License to Use the property for short-term lodging purposes only. It is NOT a lease. Under California law, this stay does not create a landlord-tenant relationship, and guests have no rights to renewal or long-term possession.

2. Identity Verification

To ensure the safety of our community, all guests are required to provide a valid Government-issued ID via our secure portal. TTLock access codes will not be released until the ID has been manually verified by the property management team.

3. Check-In & Check-Out

  • Check-In: 4:00 PM PST. Access codes will activate automatically at this time.
  • Check-Out: 11:00 AM PST. Access codes will expire immediately. Unauthorized late check-outs are subject to a $50 fee per half-hour.

4. "No Party" & Noise Policy

  • Quiet hours are strictly enforced from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
  • Maximum occupancy is strictly limited to the number of guests on the reservation.
  • Violations result in immediate termination of the license and eviction without refund.

5. Damages & Security Hold

A temporary security hold will be placed on your credit card via Stripe 24 hours prior to arrival. You are financially responsible for any damage to the unit, including furniture, electronics (TVs), and walls, or any specialty cleaning required (e.g., smoke remediation).

6. Communication Consent

By booking, you provide express consent to receive automated SMS notificationsvia Twilio for the delivery of your door access codes and urgent property alerts.

7. Cancellation & ID-Failure Policy

Guest-Initiated Cancellations: Full refunds are available for cancellations made at least 48 hours prior to the 4:00 PM check-in time. Cancellations within 48 hours of arrival are non-refundable.

Faulty or Fraudulent ID: Access to the property is strictly contingent upon the provision of a valid, Government-issued ID that matches the name on the Stripe payment method.

  • If a guest fails to provide a valid ID, no access code will be issued.
  • If the ID provided is determined to be fraudulent, expired, or doesn't match the payee, the reservation will be cancelled without a refund.
  • This policy is in place to prevent credit card fraud and ensure the safety of our residents.
